Ryan Bogner

is a producer and entertainment entrepreneur who specializes in bringing unique experiences to audiences and in forming innovative strategies for the development and exploitation of intellectual property into other media. He is currently the Co-President of Content for Broadway & Beyond Theatricals, which he founded with partners Victoria Lang and Tracey McFarland.

​With over 10 years of production and development experience and 15 years in the theater industry, he has produced shows and events on Broadway, at New World Stages, Williamstown Theater Festival, The Ohio Theater, 42West, The Zipper Factory, The Julia Miles Theater, Dixon Place, The New York Musical Festival and The New York International Fringe Festival as well as countless developmental workshops, readings and concerts in both the live and digital spaces.

Notable productions include: THE WOODSMAN, HERE LIES LOVE, THE ORION EXPERIENCE, YEAST NATION, DOCTOR ZHIVAGO, TOP HAT, BIG FISH, THE CHER SHOW and CHEERS: LIVE ON STAGE among others. 

From 2012-2016, Ryan served as the Director of Creative Development and Production at RKO Stage Productions, where he was  responsible for the theatrical development and licensing of titles taken from the RKO Pictures film library and other acquired properties and it's Broadway producing and investing operations. 

In addition to working as a creative producer of live theatrical content, Ryan is an expert in working as a consultant with intellectual property holders to create content for theater based on their libraries and with those who seek to license underlying rights for live theater or to leverage live theatrical IP for exploitation in other media. He is a member of The Theater Consultants of America.

He has worked in the creation and licensing of theatrical content and with partners such as CBS, Sony Music, BroadwayHD, The Stage Network, Stageworks Media and Playscripts.com.

Prior to beginning his producing career, Bogner worked in the executive and theater operations departments at Jujamcyn Theaters, and in the professional licensing department at Theatrical Rights Worldwide, managing licenses of such shows as SPAMALOT and THE COLOR PURPLE for major professional theaters domestically and internationally. He has also worked professionally as a performer, director and comedy writer for live entertainment.

Ryan holds a B.F.A. in Musical Theater and Directing from The Boston Conservatory, and an M.F.A. in Theater Management and Producing from Columbia University. He lives in Hamilton Heights with his husband, international relations consultant, Alek Hoyos, and their corgi, Nikolai.
